Is there a pathway for Canada to meet its greenhouse gas (GHG) emission target of 30 percent reduction by 2030 and 80 percent reduction by 2050?  ARC’s Jackie Forrest covers this big question with Dr. David Layzell who leads the Canadian Energy Systems Analysis Research (CESAR) Initiative at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Layzell argues that incremental change will not be enough to meet Canada’s aggressive reduction targets. Radical, disruptive change is on the horizon. Consequently, climate policy needs a fresh approach.
